HOW WE WORK
There are a large number of socio-economically vulnerable children in need of medical treatment all across India. SACHi teams, through their network of referrals via partner organisations and others, and free health camps (after Covid-19 restrictions are eased), will identify such children in need of treatment in the age group of 0-16 years for specific medical conditions such as respiratory, neurological, cardiac, gastro-intestinal, orthopaedic, oncology-related, among others. The condition of the children will be medically evaluated by specialist doctors and the next steps for treatment identified.
OUR PROGRAMMES
OUR PROGRAMMES
Free Teleconsultation & On-Site Consultation for Underprivileged Children
Teleconsultation with doctors will be offered for children aged 0-16 years. A team of Apollo Hospital doctors and paramedical staff will organize free medical camps for children in rural and urban areas.
Surgery in Apollo Hospitals
For Underprivileged
Children
Apollo Hospitals, India’s leading hospital group with the best doctors and surgeons across all medical specialities, will treat underprivileged children (0-16 years) referred under SACHi for major medical conditions including cardiac problems.
Anganwadi & Balwadi Support Programmes To Reduce Infant Mortality & Maternal Mortality
India has high infant mortality (28.3 per 1000 live births, 2019) and maternal mortality (145 deaths per 100,000 live births, 2017). To help address this, awareness generation programmes will be conducted by Apollo Hospitals’ doctors for pregnant women.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Every underprivileged child with a critical medical condition leads a life of pain and looks at an uncertain future. They have little hope as treatment options are expensive and beyond their reach.
Saving A Child’s Health Initiative (SACHi) can treat such children in need. And any monetary contribution you make to SACHi, as individuals or companies, can go a long way – for healing little hearts, limbs, organs damaged from birth, and many more treatable conditions.
Saving A Child’s Health Initiative is established under the ***. All donations are exempt from up to 50 percent of tax as under Section 80 G. Contributions are accepted in Cheques/DD, and through Bank Transfer.
Corporate Support Under CSR
SACHi welcomes corporate support under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programmes of companies. Under SACHi, only underprivileged children would be supported and donor companies will receive reports to confirm successful utilization of their funds to treat underprivileged children in need.
Donations in Cheques/DD should be made in favour of SACHi, payable at Hyderabad and send us at
